The Move.

As promised, we are excited to share our news...

We are moving to Nebraska!

We will be taking a few weeks to pack up our lives in Tallahassee, and by mid-August we will be starting a new adventure in our favorite place. Aaron was offered a fantastic opportunity at Concordia University, and he has accepted the job and will begin later this month.

We are thankful, eager, anxious and ready for this change. And so excited to pull out the winter clothes that we've left in boxes since we moved to Tallahassee. Now, we've got a lot of packing to do; we need to quickly find somewhere to live (gulp!); and prepare for our cross-country move!

If you have any tried-and-true tips for moving with an infant, I would love to know!

My best advice, having moved three times with young babies, is to invite a grandparent to keep the baby on moving day, even if it means keeping the baby in a hotel room for the day. That way you can focus on what you need to do and the baby's schedule has minimal interruption. I was nursing for two of the moves, so still had to stop to pump, but not having to worry about the baby otherwise was so helpful.

abowlfulloflemons.blogspot.com just moved and has some great tips on organizing a move in general.

Hope that helps!
