We love making movies and we love Sugar Photography!

The amazing and talented Jennifer Little of Sugar Photography came out to the marshes of Aaron's thesis film and captured some raw and awesome images of what being on a movie set is like. If you want to see what it's like to be a film school wife, check these pictures out—and if you're looking for a photographer in Tallahassee, Florida, to capture all of life's anythings, I can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Jennifer!

Something important to me about the thesis film production was making sure I documented what it was like for me and Aaron as a critical part of our lives. A still photographer is an integral part of a movie set, because they document the process, cast and crew and show the h-a-r-d work that goes on behind (in front of/on top of/underneath/around) the camera. I feel like Jen has offered us both that view and a special view as the wife of the director. There's nothing more thrilling than seeing that director smile take after take, and I'm so thankful Jen captured that! The movie-making process has become a part of our life, and I hope it continues to be for decades.

One Year Anniversary Photos by Sugar Photography

Sometimes I have to pinch myself because of the fantastic, creative people I am surrounded by. I met my friend Jennifer through work, and let me tell you – she has incredible taste and an eye for everything cute and fun. She has recently started her own photography company, Sugar Photography, and I was so excited to set up a time that she could photograph Aaron and me for some pics for our upcoming first anniversary.

We went out to the North Florida Fair, and Jennifer brought with her three yellow perfectly huge balloons that we had so much fun using. Jen did an amazing job capturing the colors and the atmosphere of the fair, and she even got us to go inside a funnel cake concession stand. It was hilarious!

I adore these pictures. We plan to use one of them for our Christmas card, which I'd love to share with you all later.

Here are a few shots from our session. It was so hard to pick the ones I wanted to feature on the blog – I love them all! (You can click on the pictures to enlarge them if you'd like.)

If you'd like to see more, head over to the Sugar Photography blog at www.iluvsugarphotography.blogspot.com. If you're in Tallahassee and looking for a photographer, you need to plan a session with Jennifer.

And those rad balloons? You can find them in nine colors in her shop here – how fun is that?

Thank you so much, Jennifer, for capturing these memories for us! We love them!
