I love this little short Aaron shot this on our road trip to Nebraska over Christmas break. It chronicles what going home to McCook, Neb., feels like through his eyes. We hadn't been to Aaron's hometown since last Christmas, and it was special not only to see our family, but for Aaron to spend an evening with all of his best friends from high school.

Home Life with the Nixes

Last night, Aaron cut together a special little video. In the spring, he shot a short amount of footage of us at home doing nothing special. I had just returned from the grocery store, it was late, I certainly don't look fancy or dressed up at all and there was no grand reason for him to record those moments. But he did, and I am so glad. Isn't it amazing to see the  miraculous in the mundane?
