Peace

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."

If you haven't noticed, my latest posts have been twenty ways of crazy. With wedding pandemonium, acres of schoolwork, issues with a long distance relationship, issues with friendships, being sick for most of October and the beginning of November, I haven't taken the time to say "thanks" to many people. And I have many people to thank for their support this semester and general niceness as human beings. I will try to tell you in person, too, but if you read this blog and you are a nice person, thank you. I appreciate you. I am counting you as a blessing this holiday season.

This morning, I was looking at recipes and found this one from Martha Stewart. My Jamanda has tonight decided that she is making the cake, and it looks and smells delicious! I can't wait to try it :)

So, I have a confession to make. I stalk you all. That's right. Every night I check how many of you have found your way to this little blog and I try to figure out who you are. There are more of you than I expected, which I am thankful for, but I wish you would comment. See, I know where your home IP address is, and I can see your location, but I really don't have a clue who you are beyond that. And that anonymity is fine. If you want to be anonymous, do. But you can still comment as anonymous. OK? OK.

Now I'll give you a chance to comment. I'm starting a recipe collection, and I want to know your recipes for your favorite dinner. Please let me know, OK? And I promise to give you more leading opportunities to comment.

Here's the catch. I have to moderate your comments. I promise I will verify them ALL, even mean ones, if you leave them. The reason I'm moderating is because I get comments from spammers hocking Viagara AND because sometimes people comment on older posts and I don't get to read the comments because I don't know they're there. So that's your explanation.

So I hope all of you nice (or mean, if that's what you want to be) people leave a comment. I'll be the happiest girl in the world.

I <3 VIAGRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And SPAM!!!!!!!

And.... love. I love you.

Chicken Tortilla Soup
1 can black beans
1 can tomato soup
1 can chicken broth
1 can corn (drained)
1 can white chicken breast (drained)
1 can Rotel tomatoes (drained)
1/2 - 1 pkt of Taco Seasoning

Pretty much just mix everything (besides taco seasoning) together and heat until cooked well. Add seasoning to taste (more is spicier).

Freaking fantastic, makes a TON, and is great for cold weather with some tortilla chips and grated cheese at the bottom. Fantastic.

I also recently made a Nutty Bar cheesecake. Whatchuthink?

"One Pot Tuna Casserole" is on our bi-weekly meal rotation. Very easy to make and the "one-pot" means less dish washing!

1 16 oz pkg egg noodles
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 can cr. mushroom soup
1 can tuna, drained
1/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to package. Drain in strainer. Melt butter in the same pot to cook the noodles. Add the soup, tuna, milk, and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in the noodles and enjoy!

We like to add in peas and eat it with crushed potato chips on top also.

Amber

P.S. LOVED the invites! Very cool.
