We have reached a point in thesis cycle where it's comfortable for Aaron to be away. He is on his third to last show, and this one is so much better than the one he finished last Wednesday because it's not all night shoots.
Night shoots are the worst. He was on set most days from mid-afternoon to anywhere between 2 and 6 a.m., which suuucks, because that means the only time we are home at the same time is when one of us is asleep. Like I said, though, there were only six days of that, and they're over (for this week, at least). For the current show Aaron has an early morning call, which means he is home at a really reasonable time, and we at least get to spend an hour or so together before bed.
I miss him today, though, as I watch the Masters tournament and make steaks (one for him when he comes home). I am looking forward to the day when he might have a more reasonable schedule, or at least more time at home.
