World without words.

The new Starbucks logo was unveiled today. You can find the article about the redesign of the Starbucks logo here.  I like the image, but I don't like the idea of taking the words out. The name is as much the essence of the company as the Siren. I feel like the posterity of the brand will eventually be lost. What do you think about Starbucks' logo redesign? Other thoughts?

I'm a little sad to see the wording go. I don't think it (the wording) takes anything away from the image. But, in a world where 140 character blips rule, what do you expect?
