I am tired of being grumpy and disappointed by this long distance mumbo-jumbo.
I can't wait until next Thursday.
I have two more days on the copy desk at the Cape Cod Times.
And tonight I got cheesecake, whoopie pies and chocolate cake. And a speech. It was a lovely going away party. I feel very awkward when people talk about me in front of large groups (or news rooms,) so, when my editor began talking, I turned a little red. And then, after receiving the "roll with the punches award" from Susan, our News Editor, I was just really, really grateful for my experience. So thanks, CCT.
