So, I have been in a big slump for the last few weeks. The really good things going on in my life have been (in my mind) outweighed by a few bad things, and I've kind of sat here dwelling on them. I will go into more detail in a later post, but I just wanted to say thanks, everyone, for reading the lately-unfun blog this has become. I want to write about the true experiences I'm having, but I'm not sure how much good and bad I should publish out there. I don't want to be one of those shiny happy people who is so happy it's irritating - I don't really get joy from reading about that all the time - but I also don't want this to be my soapbox. So please bear with me as I explore a little more of what this "blog" actually is to me.
We don't have any concrete plans for the weekend. If I could I would pack our bags and be ready and waiting for Aaron when he got out of class so we could spend tomorrow on a beach like the one in said picture, but I'm not sure that will happen. You know, money and planning and things... all of which I dislike but what Aaron claims are necessary (what fun is he?).
Since I haven't done it for a while, here's today's Friday Fill-In:
1. All you need is love.
2. Too many mojitos and a dancing husband fill me with laughter.
3. Each generation, as it grows up, becomes the one before it.
4. Being out of the loop is something I have a hard time dealing with.
5. A trip to the beach! is what I need.
6. Give and you get back.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending an evening with my long-lost husband, tomorrow my plans include ???? and Sunday, I want to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
