Nine months ago today, Aaron and I ventured across state lines, bridges and time zones to Cape Cod. I had a summer-long appointment as an intern there; he had a few days to spend with me. I will never forget that summer, and today, I'm pining for the salt and storms and sun of the Cape. And I'm thankful for some very dear friendships forged there and at the residency that preceded the internship.
