I've always been very interested in genealogy. Every time I visit my grandparents I thumb through their yellowed photo albums and recall who married whom and what their childrens' names were. I especially love looking at the names, of which my family has a really great selection. When we have kids I'd love to use an ancestral name... like my great grandpa Harry's second middle name: Amandus. Or not :) I've decided that I'm going to put that keen interest to work and make it profitable by completing as much of my family tree as I can. I've been inspired by the ancestry.com sponsored ABC show, and I really want my future kids to have an idea where their great-greats came from. I am fortunate to have living grandparents who can recall many important details that will help me with this project. Ultimately, I'd like to see how far back we can trace our lineage and celebrate that. I'd also like to get as much information from Aaron's family as I can so we can have some background on his roots, too. This will be a great project!
