I woke up this morning nervous I was late to work; this mid-month holiday caught me by surprise. I think I'm going to paint my nails and go out on the town for some browsing a little bit later.
I love days off like this... so far I've made a delicious breakfast and put hot rollers in my hair, courtesy of Hollywood Housewife's tutorial. Channeling the beautiful curls of Marion Cotillard's character Mal in Inception....
Made a pistachio cake for Aaron using the Pioneer Woman's recipe. It turned out great, and I'd definitely recommend!
Spent the morning snuggling on the couch with my sleepy little fox
And yesterday, I started painting the Alamo. I chose Behr's Verdigris, which is a bluish gray. Another post on that coming soon!
